deAlbert Meyburgh, Principal & Co-Founder, Chief Technical Officer

Albert completed the Bachelor of Technology and a CST Diploma in Technical Programming at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. He is instrumental in bringing in Intercarbon's partnership with BCIT. Before joining Detheory, Albert was a systems architect at Whitenoise Laboratories. With a strong background in network security, Albert received the BCNet award for best undergraduate submission for his work on the Whitenoise security tunnel. Projects envisioned, then realized is how he gets his kicks in life.  When he's not reading source code, or trying out some fad linux distro, he's on the slopes with his longtime friend the snow board.

deLewis Zimmerman, Principal & Co-Founder, Chief Creative Officer

Lewis holds over 10 years of experience in information design, system architecture, and developing internet based applications, which began when he founded a design studio that did work with many of the short-lived "bubble" companies of the late 1990's. Prior to Detheory, Lewis has been responsible for the development of a number of technically complex businesses, and is currently an active co-founder of Intercarbon Networks: a Vancouver based company developing systems to manage talent. There, he is primarily responsible for product development and organizational strategy, and has been able to leverage his extensive attention to natural patterns of interaction and experience consulting with a variety of companies, from very early stage startups to those in their maturity, into the continued growth of the organization.

Lewis holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance with an elective concentration in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia, where he graduated on the Dean's List with Honours and a 4.15 GPA. His experience and reputation in technology is a leveraged asset and valuable part of Detheory.
